The service will recommend the optimum intercourse schedule to conceive, it will show the fertile days and ovulation. This is the most important information for any woman who wants to become pregnant.
Whichever cycle you have is OK. If you have a more or less regular cycle, then the program will be able to forecast your cycle. If you have an irregular cycle, you will be able to keep track of it, print charts, etc.
For any previous menstruation cycle, navigate on the calendar to the first day of it, and set Menstruation (period) flag for that day, set other flags, if applicable, and click Submit Data. Then the program will ask you about hormonal contraceptives during that cycle. After that set all remaining menstruation days of that cycle.
You need to mark all days of menstruation, not just the first day, it is important.
Just navigate to that day and remove Menstruation flag from it and click Submit Data. You need unmark all remaining days of this period as well (if none of them is the correct first day). Then navigate to the right day, mark it and click Submit Data.
If you did ovulation test results, enter them. If you had BBT readings, enter them and the program will calculate ovulation automatically.
If you know for sure that you had ovulation on a certain day, then you can go to the previous day and set both flags Ovulation test taken and Ovulation test positive, this will mark the following day as ovulation day.
Cyclendar.com will start working at its full potential, when on the right Information box there will be *no* link which reads "How to make Cyclendar.com more accurate".
You need to enter as much data as possible for your previous cycles, including menstruation days and ovulation days (see above). If you have BBT for those days - you'd better enter it as well.
It is now shown on the Information table and available in generic and pregnancy modes. If you are not pregnant yet, then the due date is calculated as if you would conceive during the current cycle.
At the bottom of the Information table at Calendar & Enter Data use the link that reads "If you switched to the pregnancy mode by mistake". After that go to the 'Pregnancy' menu item and enter a new date of conception.
Every reference to the term of pregnancy in books or ultrasound or anywhere, is based on the term from the last menstrual period (LMP). That's why we display the term in the same scale.
The algorithm that obstetricians use is pretty oversimplified, and they believe that conception occurs on the 15th day of the cycle (in other words, that there are exactly two weeks before LMP and conception). However it is not the case with so many women. That's why the program calculates "artificial" LMP, as the date of conception minus two weeks.
Please see Calendar section, it has the explanation of it.
Because you have not set your time zone on sign-up. Go to Settings and adjust your time zone settings. You may also need to check that the clock on the computer that you use now is set properly as well.
"Safe-sex" days are light blue on the calendar.
Ovulation day is green and fertile days are light green on the calendar. Cyclendar.com will show the best sex schedule to get pregnant - we recommend you follow it.
Yes, you can mark such cycles. Navigate to the first day of that cycle, set the according checkbox at the bottom of the form and click Submit Data. Anytime you can remove this flag, so the cycle will participate in stats calculations any time.
In case you have any hormonal or other problem, the service will help to track your cycle, thus giving the information that will help with a diagnosis and treatment. For example, Cyclendar.com will calculate your luteal phase, if is short (less than 10 days), it is usually the hormonal problem and you need to visit a doctor.
